Krishnanunni Memorial Award 2021

The Krishnanunni Memorial Award is a cash award given to the topper of class XI in the Government Higher Secondary School, North Paravur, where Sri Krishnanunni had his early education. The winner of the award for 2020-21 was given to Master Amal Krishna.

Master Amal Krishna is one of the brilliant students of  Govt. Boys HSS N Paravur who won full A Plus in the 2020 - 21 SSLC batch. He always impressed his teachers with his ability to articulate difficult concepts and understand dense texts.

The award was presented to Master Amal Krishna in a felicitation ceremony on Sep 1, 2021. The Headmistress Smt. Sini has organised a grand function which was telecast live. The proceedings were in Malayalam. Smt.K J Shine, Chairperson, State Education Council was the chief guest. Dr Dakshayani and Sri Narayanan, sister and brother of Sri Krishnanunni drove all the way from Palakkad to attend the function. The cash award was presented to Master Amal Krishnan by Smt. Baby Kamalam, retired faculty member of the school. The certificate was handed over to the Headmistress to be given to Amal Krishnan by Smt. T N Priya, Other awards of the school were also presented on the occasion. Sri Narayanan, also a past student and Smt. Priya  also spoke.
